wear and tear can take its toll on the timber around your
roof and often what you can’t see you miss. This
is particularly true when you examine the condition of
felt on a roofline refurbishment.
\The timber construction of your roof
is protected with roof felt, which provides a waterproof
barrier for any rainwater, which penetrates the roof tiles.
When our installers remove the existing guttering and the
timber fascia the roof felt which should dress into the
gutter is often so deteriorated that it has completely
disappeared. The Jumbotec™ /
Jumbovent™ eaves
protection system is an optional extra which resolves this
problem and can provide a much improved lifespan for your
roof.
To install this product our expert fitters
will remove up to two rows of tiles, cut back and renew damaged
felt, where required, in order that the Jumbotec™ / Jumbovent™ can
be fitted securely in position before dressing the felt over
the Jumbotec™ / Jumbovent™ . The final result ensures
that all the timber at the rafter feet is protected from “ponding” which
occurs when water lying in the gutters can splash back onto
exposed timber in the roof structure. Our Jumbotec™ /
Jumbovent™ can provide much needed protection for your
roof structure.
