Westsound Community Awards-Lifetime Achievement

Scotia are delighted to have been involved in The Westsound Community Awards for another year. The event hosted by Westsound recognises all of those individuals or organisations in our community who make a real difference to the quality of life and are all too often overlooked.
This year Scotia sponsored the "The Lifetime Achievement Award" which was presented by Alastair Crabb to Leslie McCammont from Saltcoats. Les has been a member of Air Training Corps for over 45 years and is currently Commanding Officer of 1138 Squadron(Ardrossan). His role in the Corps provides a platform for young members of our community to develop their interests and skills in sports, discipline, aviation and pride in themselves.
Les has also served as a Fire Fighter,Special Constable and more recently as Chieftan of The Ardrossan Highland Games.
Congratulations Les, you are an fine example to us all!
