| Every Scotia product
is custom built to suit your home. We only design and build
all year round heated conservatories and to assist your
decision about which product best suits your needs we have
provided a brief selection of some of the more popular
styles available. The key points to remember are that every
conservatory Scotia designs and builds has the following
benefits.
- Incorporates toughened
safety glass as standard. Toughened glass provides both
safety and security for your home and your family as the
glass goes through a heat process which makes the glass
almost five times more difficult to break. An added benefit
is that should the glass break it will crumble into small
pieces no bigger than a pea.
- Is designed as an all year round heated conservatory.
Heated conservatories incorporate additional insulation
in the roof, floor, walls, windows and doors in order that
they can be passed by Building Control Departments as a
heated conservatory.
- All of our glass sealed units (whether
in frames or roof) incorporate Vista Therm Elite high performance
insulating glass which performs up to 136% better than standard
double glazing. The Vista Therm Elite sealed unit is the latest
and most revolutionary development in low emmissivity (low
e) glass as it offers superior thermal performance and light
transmission with a u-value of 1.1w/m2k. These remarkable standards
are achieved by using a soft coat low e glass sealed units
filled with argon gas and incorporating a 28mm hermetically
sealed unit.

The image below demonstrates how our Vista Therm Elite insulating
glass units work to:
- eliminate heat loss during cold months.
- cut your
energy costs/ fuel bills.
- make your conservatory much more
comfortable.
- eliminate cold spots close to windows.

- Every floor has additional insulation to keep in the
warmth.
- Every dwarf wall has additional insulation to ensure
you can use your conservatory every single day of the year.
