Glass Roof / Polycarbonate Roof
Our Conservatory roofs are available in either polycarbonate
or toughened safety glass. The range of polycarbonate roofs
are undoubtedly more popular as they are more competitively
priced than glass, provide superb insulation due to their
multi-chamber design and they are available in clear, opal
and bronze tints.
Whilst our glass roofs are fitted as
standard with toughened safety glass for safety and security,
we also incorporate low emmissivity glass which is then
filled with argon gas to provide the very best insulation
to your glass conservatory roof. One debate that takes
place is which roof is better.
The main difference customers
highlight between these two roof types is the noise during
rain as some of our clients find the noise of rain on a polycarbonate
roof to be therapeutic others prefer the quieter glass roofs.
